Two FRC robots at a time. You pick one. A rating moves. Do it enough times and a leaderboard falls out.
The ranking is Elo, the same math chess uses. Everyone starts at 1400. Winning takes points from the robot you beat, and beating a highly rated robot is worth more than beating a poorly rated one. A robot that has only been seen a few times hasn't found its level yet, so early positions move around a lot.
There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Votes are rate-limited using a daily-rotating hash of your IP address and browser. No raw IP address is ever stored, so there is nothing here to leak.
Team numbers, names, and robot photos come from The Blue Alliance, via their public API. frcmash is not affiliated with The Blue Alliance, and TBA doesn't endorse any of this.
